Alkaline diet is the answer

I have this on and off problem. If I follow a particular diet consisting of fiber, fruits, and curds, my health is in perfect condition. I only have to eat some deep fried stuff, mainly out of greed, and the very next day, I start experiencing funny sensations. My digestion goes haywire and I feel queasy, tired, and irritable and walk around with a bloated sensation and of course suffer from heartburn.
I still remember, it was one of those rare exhibitions in our city and we all thronged to the place. After some time, we could not take our eyes off some yummy snacks which were being sold. My friends and I gorged on them, throwing caution to winds. You cannot imagine the agony that we all went through the next day. It took me almost three days to regain my normal health.
I am now very careful with my diet. I take liberal doses of yogurt, cold milk, ginger water, fruits and fresh vegetables and of course, sufficient water to ensure good digestion. I am a slow eater because I take care to chew well. I do not even look in the direction of aerated drinks. My adherence to non-spicy and vegetarian diet with regular yoga has helped to ensure excellent health, vivacity and youthfulness.
My advice to anyone who suffers from heartburn would be, "Stay away from greasy and spicy stuff. Avoid munching snacks in between meals. Stick to wholesome diet consisting of fibers, sprouts, vegetables and fruits. Give in to temptation once in a while but do not make it a habit."
