Healthy Banana Bread Recipe
This healthy banana bread recipe has become a family tradition. Whenever there are a few overripe bananas we turn them into this healthy banana bread.
Ingredients:
- 2 or 3 ripe bananas,
mashed
- 1 1/2 cups whole wheat pastry flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 cup oats, old fashioned
- 3 egg whites
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 1/3 cup walnuts chopped
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Combine wet ingredients in a bowl and dry ingredients in another bowl.
- Slowly add dry ingredients to the wet.
- Pour into loaf pan and cook about 15-20 minutes.
